GABRA1
GABRA1，即γ-氨基丁酸A型受体亚单位α1，别名EJM、ECA4、EJM5、DEE19、EIEE19等。GABRA1基因位于人类第5号染色体上，编码的蛋白质是GABAA受体α1亚单位，这是一种配体门控的氯离子通道，主要在中枢神经系统中起作用。GABRA1的作用机制是通过与GABA结合，调节氯离子通道的开启，导致神经元细胞膜的超极化，从而降低神经元的兴奋性，产生抑制性突触后电位。GABRA1在生物学意义上非常重要，它参与调节神经系统的兴奋性，对于维持神经系统的正常功能至关重要。GABRA1基因的突变与某些类型的癫痫如青少年肌阵挛性癫痫和儿童失神性癫痫有关，是研究癫痫等疾病的重要靶点。
